Wow, look how time flies! Tomorrow it's going to be December 1, 2019. This will be my 12th Christmas away from the land of my birth, the Philippines, well specifically Zamboanga City in the bountiful island of Mindanao. That's 12 continuous years of not going home but still celebrating a Filipino Christmas in Aotearoa New Zealand. A Kiwi Christmas is very different from the ones back home. Weather and temperature is the great difference: December is supposed to be one of the coolest months in the Philippines while it is super, extra hot, summer here. The Christmas countdown starts now!
